ANZSCO Description

Installs, maintains and repairs gas mains, piping systems downstream of the billing meter, and appliances and ancillary equipment associated with the use of fuel gases, including liquefied petroleum gas systems. Registration or licensing is required.

Green List Requirements

Registration as either a certifying, tradesman, or journeyman Gasfitter with the New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (12 months on a provisional licence will be accepted toward the overall 24 months duration and for AEWV purposes, provided registration is complete on application for the residence visa)

Minimum Pay Requirement

A minimum hourly pay rate of $29.66 is required.
