An exceptional vacancy has arisen with one of NZ's leading aged care providers, ABC in Wellington. This is a key role within a forward-moving and dynamic organisation for a senior Registered Nurse looking for the next significant step in their career.
We are currently seeking a very special person to lead an exceptional team in a small, homely 26-bed facility offering dementia hospital (psychogeriatric) care. ABC is nestled in a quiet suburb among residential homes, and is peaceful and welcoming.

The successful person will work closely with the Operations Coordinator and our experienced and committed team to provide a loving, homely environment for our residents and strong, positive leadership to our staff family.
The Clinical Manager will:
- Ensure effective and safe care is provided within your facility
- Assist to educate staff so that they too provide effective and safe care
- Work to ensure that all staff work in accordance with the vision, values and philosophies of these facilities
- Ensure that all services provided to residents are of a high standard
- Provide on call coverage as necessary
- Ensure safe staffing coverage
- Participate in registered nurse meetings, in-service education and staff development activities
- Participate in ongoing clinical supervision
- Ensure staff perform their duties in accordance with the policies and procedures
- Comply with RN Professional Code of Practice
- Meet key tasks, performance indicators, and performance measures
Requirements for consideration:
- A current NZRN Annual Practicing Certificate
- At least 3 years practical nursing experience at a senior level in New Zealand or previous Clinical Management experience
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for this role.
