Cloud Delivery Lead

ABC are seeking a Cloud Delivery Lead to join the dynamic Cloud team. Reporting to the Head of Cloud Technology and Delivery, this role can be in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and will be working across multiple projects.

The Delivery Lead within the Cloud Team at ABC is responsible for ensuring the success of customer projects and initiatives. Collaborating with Project Managers, Consultants, Cloud Engineers, clients, and third parties to enable Kiwi businesses with Cloud solutions.

To excel in the position, the ideal candidate should thrive on customer satisfaction and find joy in meeting deadlines.

Ko tō mahi – What you will do

Your key accountabilities will include:

- Manage high-quality, multiple stakeholder projects
- Support and coach squads to build a highly valued consulting and client-focused engagement
- Develop methods and tools for developing comprehensive project plans and tracking progress against these
- Advise on risks, issues, resourcing, and what mitigating actions can be taken to enable successful project delivery
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to project team members or working group members
- Proactively identify links and dependencies between projects

In depth knowledge of IT systems and Cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of cloud services, virtualization, networking, and storage systems. Experience working with technical teams to consult, implement and support IT solutions. Significant experience in project and/or program management. Strong influencing and negotiating skills at all levels. A strategic outlook, with the capability to analyse large, complex issues and readily grasp and assimilate the ideas, analysis, and advice produced by others. Demonstrable experience leading successful implementations of Cloud solutions. The ability to foster an open, collaborative environment that encourages quality, innovation, ongoing learning, and knowledge sharing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex issues in a way that engages both technical and business leaders.
