Playing a vital role in a supportive, multidisciplinary clinical team, you will enable people to live better lives by supporting our clients’ psychological needs. Your work will focus on providing both individual and group talking therapy alongside psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and other allied health professionals.

To enable you and your clients to thrive, you will be provided with all the tools and professional development you need, including ample training, clinical supervision, CPD and working in a team committed to supporting clients psychologically.

This role is based in any of our offices nationally.

Your Background:

For counsellors:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in counselling.
Registration with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

For Psychotherapists:

Master’s degree or higher in psychotherapy, including successful completion of required practical hours and registration with the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ) or New Zealand Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists (NZACAP).
Valid annual practicing certificate with required scope where indicated.

Training must have included:

two or more models of counselling
counselling skills
human development
family dynamics
abnormal psychology
dealing with injury and trauma.

You must have greater than 12 months experience in mental health.

As an accredited employer, we welcome overseas candidates. As an accredited employer, we pay at minimum the median wage of NZD $29.66/hr for this role.
