Two Full-Time or Part Time Dentist Positions Between Mangawhai and Wellsford, New Zealand

We offer excellent income potential with guaranteed full books that include a mix of continuing care as well as more advanced treatments. This position starts from late March 2024 (flexible for the right candidates), and is open to qualifying dentists from NZ, as well as Australia, Canada, the UK and South Africa. Huge scope for professional growth in this role, and a chance to upskill using the latest technology available. Working with a supportive team of skilled staff, who work alongside our dentists to provide compassionate, exceptional care to our patients.

Our two leading edge practices have state of the art technology, an exciting opportunity awaits to make the most of our digital Primescan, Cerec Primemill, Sirona CBCT imaging, new Sirona chairs, 3D printers, IO cameras, laser and the EMS master prophylaxis. Not only offering our patients the best possible diagnostics, but enabling our dentists to confidently take on more complicated treatments.

Comprehensive patient care is our focus, but we value our teams’ needs just as highly. For recently graduated dentists, with a minimum of 12 months experience, we offer a valuable mentorship initiative, that includes workshops with various authorities in their fields, access to senior dentists for hands-on advice during clinical time, the opportunity to continually learn from one another in a respected environment. And of course daily support and guidance from other practitioners who are experienced in mentoring newer dentists. For all of our dentists we believe in the benefits of learning from each other and the strength of collaboration, so have regular clinical meetings where individual cases can be discussed; and offer the opportunity to engage in workshops also.

A little bit about the areas where the practices are located: Mangawhai is conveniently located on the coast between Whangarei and Auckland, this thriving sea-side community has experienced a large permanent population growth over the last decade. Dubbed Magical Mangawhai the area combines sun, sea and sand with great foodie spots, vibrant art, and incredible scenery. With great schools, lots of amenities and a friendly community, it is a permanent residence for young families and retired folks alike.  Semi-rural Wellsford is located at the northernmost point of the Auckland region, only 40 minutes from Auckland’s North Shore. Rich in culture and history, the town is a hub for the farming communities surrounding it. The community has a strong focus on the outdoors, local attractions include golfing, squash, tramping in the Dome Valley or at Atiu Creek Regional Park, surfing at Te Arai or fishing on the Kaipara Harbour. The average house value is $700,000.00, with weekly rent from $525.00. Wellsford has an easy-going loyal community, and are very welcoming to newcomers.
