Bioresearches is the specialist ecology brand of ABC Consultants Limited, a proudly employee-owned engineering and environmental consultancy. Bioresearches has a track record of more than 50 years of delivering ecological assessments, management and monitoring services throughout New Zealand and across marine, coastal, freshwater and terrestrial environments, and working a diversity of indigenous flora and fauna.
Our exciting role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Ecologist to join our growing team in Auckland. In this role you would work collaboratively within a multidiscipline environment, to provide expert advice and assist the delivery of high quality terrestrial or freshwater and wetland surveys, assessments, management and monitoring programs.
You would work within a highly motivated team who are passionate about the environment, ecology, sustainable solutions and who love their workplace. At Bioresearches, every day is different, and every day makes a difference.
What you’ll need
A degree-based professional qualification in ecology or environmental sciences, or equivalent experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of New Zealand ecology
Strong report writing skillset
Preference for experience with New Zealand freshwater systems
