Electronic Security Technician

ABC are a leading New Zealand owned Security and Alarm business based in Christchurch. We provide around-the-clock security services including installation, monitoring, repairs, and maintenance.

As a result of our continued growth and success we are looking for an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our team. Working with a variety of products across a wide range of different environments; no two days are the same!

Some of the systems we install include: Inner Range, Gallagher, DSC, Hikvision, Provision, Ajax, and FAAC.

To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with installation of access control, alarm and IP camera products in commercial premises
- Full clean driver’s license
- Strong technical background within electronic security industry
- The ability to set up a complete commercial security system from installation through to programming and testing is essential
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Work well in a team environment with the ability to have a laugh!

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Installing and servicing a wide range of alarms/security systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, access control and integrated systems
- Test and commission security equipment
- Provide preventative maintenance for both alarm and CCTV systems
- Liaising with key customers on technical and service matters
- Completing paperwork accurately, and on time

We are an immigration accredited employer and are happy to hear from technicians outside the Canterbury area that wish to relocate. We will also contribute to relocation costs for the right candidate within NZ.
