Join ABC based in Nelson

ABC are looking to employ an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in the port area of sunny Nelson.

You'll be responsible for estimating and quoting jobs, dealing with suppliers for quoting and ordering, project management, and assisting the Managing Director where possible.

Our successful candidate must have a proven track record of estimating within the marine and industrial engineering sectors.

As you'll be working with our customers and communicating with Supervisors to hand over from quote to construction, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Other key skills and attributes include:

Excellent understanding of drawings
A relevant degree (ie Mechanical Engineering) is preferred
CAD experience
Ability to write up tender applications
Strong computer skills
Good organisation and time management skills
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Full driver's licence

An hourly rate of $38 - $48 per hour will be offered to the successful candidate depending on experience. You'll also receive company vehicle and phone. This is a full time permanent role (minimum 40 hours per week).

Applicants MUST have a clean record to undergo a Police background check. You also MUST be living in NZ and able to work here legally.
