Mō te tūnga | About the role
As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in our Group's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, collaborating closely with the Manager, FP&A. Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and consolidated commentary, ensuring the smooth execution of our financial processes. You'll support National Office budget holders, conduct insightful variance analyses, and maintain forecast and budget models. Additionally, you'll engage in ongoing cost analysis across various organisational facets and contribute to the development of decision-making templates and financial models.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Candidates should possess expertise in financial analysis or management accounting, along with proficiency in financial modelling.
A Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to review budget inputs, conduct variance analyses, and report on key business metrics.
The capacity to identify financial risks, streamline reporting processes, and provide essential support to contract owners in financial analytics is essential.
Utilise expertise to transition manual dashboards to automated platforms such as PowerBI, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
