ABC is one of the premier motels on the banks of Lake Taupo and has been ranked as number 1 on TripAdvisor for the last four years. We host travelers throughout the year in a mix of one bedroom and two bedroom suites, some of which have their own private hot pools.
We are looking for a full-time Commercial Housekeeper to join our team. We maintain our rooms to an impeccable standard and need someone who takes pride in what they do and finishes tasks to a high standard.
The job requires:
- Cleaning the rooms and the exterior of the buildings.
- Sweeping, polishing, and polishing floors and vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
- Cleaning hot pools and maintaining temperature.
- Dusting and polishing fixtures, furniture, and fittings.
- Picking up rubbish and emptying garbage containers.
- Replenishing bed linen and making beds.
- Picking up, sorting, washing, and drying of linen.
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing bathroom supplies.
The ideal person will meet the following requirements:
- Be hardworking and proactive with attention to detail.
- Have a good attitude, be a team player, and be willing to take on a challenge.
- Be willing to work odd hours, late evenings, and on weekends.
- Be medically and physically fit.
- Must have the right to work in NZ (incl. NZ Work Visa).
