ABC is looking for Home Loan Assessor for its Tauranga Branch to come in and further provide a helping hand to its advisory team in providing excellent service and fast turnaround to their customers. ABC is an Accredited Employer. Applicants who have recently migrated to NZ or graduated from local uni in NZ and have overseas lending experience will also be considered.

ABC has settled over $14 billion in mortgage and personal risk insurance and have been in the industry for more than 25 years. We have won over 50+ industry awards making it one of the leading advisory practices in the country.

The Role will involve:

Understand customer's home lending requirements.
Apply the lending criteria of different lenders to customer lending needs.
Prepare mortgage applications for submission to lenders for a successful outcome.
Ensure all home loan applications meet internal and external compliance requirements.
Assisting the Advisers in answering any queries from the lenders for a successful mortgage approval.
Liaise with the customers to ensure all the required documents are complete and accurate.
No lead generation or travelling outside office is required in this role.

To be successful you must have:

12 months or more experience in mortgage or home loan space with a mortgage advisory practice or bank in NZ or overseas
Current experience with NZ lenders' will be preferred.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
A friendly personality and desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to forge strong relationships with customers and peers.
Multitasking and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Candidates having or pursuing National Certificate in Financial Services - Level 5 (Lending Strand) will be preferred.

The Offer

The role also holds the possibility to move up within the organisation and become a customer facing adviser with the right experience, accreditations and knowledge.

This role involves 45 hours with 40 hours Monday to Friday and 5 hours on Saturday.

Candidates living in other cities in NZ but willing to relocate to Auckland will be considered.
