ABC Engineering is a long-established company that designs and builds Industrial Heat Exchange systems, Evaporative Cooling Towers, Fans, Blowers, Dust Collectors, and many other industrial products.
Our office is based in Manukau City and we are seeking candidates with hands on mechanical skills. If you have worked as a refrigeration engineer, or maintenance service engineer, have an outgoing personality, and like to give meaningful customer service to Clients, then we are interested to talk to you. We can support you to learn our products and how to deliver ongoing sales but having a working knowledge of industrial sites or refrigeration engineering, would be an advantage. If you have the basics, we can teach you the rest.
This opportunity would suit candidates with sound technical skills and salesmanship ability to turn sales, into confirmed orders, hence the title of the role - you are finding solutions to our customers issues and resolving them. Can you do that, if yes, then considering applying today.
This role will use your skills to:
To seek and convert sales opportunities for bespoke industrial solutions.
Nurture and support our client and consultant relationships.
Provide a high level of Customer Service and Sales support to internal and external customers.
To assist with technical issues, resulting sales, any proposals or quotes needed and procurement activities within the wider ABC Group as needed.
Drive or fly to site as required, a vehicle is provided as part of the salary package.
You are likely to have one or more of the following:
Background qualification Diploma of Engineering, Electrical or HVAC field
Technical experience with Cooling Towers, Compressors, heat exchangers etc used in industrial refrigeration.
Procurement in a mechanical field
Computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication skills on the phone and in person.
Proven good time management

While we are an Accredited Employer we encourage candidates to have a current Work Visa (working Holiday Visa, Partner Visa, Work to Residency). You must be able to attend an interview in person and commence work within 6 weeks of an Interview.
