Interior Fit Out Specialist

ABC is a busy Interior Fitout company providing services to the commercial building sector throughout the country.

Primarily ABC offers full fit out packages to main contractors in the commercial sector. Our range of services includes (but is not limited to) steel and timber framing, insulation, gib fixing and stopping, painting, ceilings, carpets and acoustic treatments.

We are now seeking the services of experienced Interior fit out specialists who can demonstrate a track record of installing rondo and suspended ceilings and plasterboard fixing. We are also looking to build a team of plasterboard stoppers. You will be working in a team of 3-4, so the ability to work in a team environment is important.

Key attributes and competencies that you may be able to demonstrate include completing the following works to a high standard and to meet the manufacturers specifications:

- Steel stud install - Internal partitions
- Insulation installs - polyester and glasswool, kingspan
- Acoustic coverings - autex composition and other acoustic treatments
- Plywood and hard finishes
- Gib fixing and stopping
- Aluminium partitions
- Suspended ceilings - rondo and grid

Ideally you will have at least 2-3 years experience working in the NZ commercial construction market.

A full and clean NZ drivers license would be an advantage, however this not an absolute requirement.

The roles are full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week - however many of our team will work additional hours as available to them.

Depending on your level of experience pay rates will be in the vicinity of $31 - $40 per hour.

Our office is based at the airport in Hamilton, and most of our contracts are Waikato based, however from time to time there will be work outside of the Waikato.
