A small and busy independent land surveying and engineering company based in Whangarei. We’ve been in business for over 50 years. We’re looking for a Junior Engineering Surveyor to join our team. The role

This role is specifically for a Junior Engineering Surveyor. Under the guidance of our senior engineering surveyors, you will work on detail surveys, setout, control and as-builts of engineering construction works. The field work component will see you working on constructions sites using our survey instruments. For the office-based work you will focus on interpreting data and processing into format to work on site or prepare as-built drawings. This position is full time.

Is this role for me?

Ideally you have recently completed your surveying study and will bring the following experience and attributes to the role:

- Have experience using GNSS and Total Station equipment
- Experience using CAD, 12D or similar programs
- Attention to detail is your strength
- Can listen to and follow instructions accurately
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Are flexible and willing to learn to engage in delivering best possible outcomes for clients
- Understanding of the Health and Safety in the work environment
- Have the requirements to work in New Zealand, if not we are an accredited employer and may be able to provide a straight to residency route
- Preferably have your full driver’s licence
