Due to an upcoming retirement, we have a rare opportunity to join our well-established Water team at a senior level.

As a Principal Wastewater/ 3 Waters Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Water team providing technical and management expertise and leadership to manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects in the water sector for private and public clients. The role will include design of Three Waters networks through all stages of design, providing technical advice and mentoring to junior staff, technical review of others work and production of technical specifications, tender and contract documents.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has strong technical skills, is confident interacting with clients, and enjoys developing Water professionals.

This role would particularly suit someone who has:

BE(hons) in Civil Engineering

15+ years of relevant experience

CPEng (or equivalent)

A passion for Water Engineering with a broad range of Water Engineering expertise including some or all of the following:

- An innovative, collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team
- Strong client relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Hydraulic and civil / pipework design of wastewater networks including gravity and pressure systems
- Pump station design
- Knowledge of mechanical / electrical and control works and ability to interface with these disciplines
- Knowledge of hydraulic network modelling and interfacing with these disciplines
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants and hydraulic / civil design experience
- Experience in design of water supply and stormwater networks and treatment
- Experience in Construction Administration
