The role oversees our Managed IT projects, ensuring delivery within strict time, cost, quality, scope, benefits, and risk parameters. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of interesting projects and grow your knowledge on our service offering.

Ko tō mahi – What you will do

Lead projects to achieve successful outcomes as defined in project scopes
Coordinate project engineering resources, manage financials, and oversee billing milestones
Address and resolve issues, manage customer expectations, and take issues from inception to resolution
Assist the Sales team with project delivery estimations during pre-sales activities
Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for all projects
Identify, control, and mitigate project risks and scope changes
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders
Close out projects with post-project reviews

This role would ideally suit a candidate who is a natural problem solver and has a great eye for detail.  You understand the balancing act - achieving commercial objectives while ensuring utmost customer satisfaction. The use of tools to oversee time, workflow, resourcing, and budget is second nature to you. You’ll need to be able to work collaboratively across and within teams. Your communication skills are top-tier.

We are looking for a candidate with all of the above coupled with:

Around 5 years of IT Project Management experience
Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science, Business or an associated discipline. May have formal project management qualifications (ideal)
Sound understanding and application of Project Management competencies
Sound understanding and application of change management competencies
Effective leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies
Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets
Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders
