About the Role
Seeking two Registered Nurses who can commit to working permanent night shifts Monday to Sunday. There is a permanent full-time opportunity working 192 total hours over a 6 week roster cycle and a part-time opportunity working 96 total hours over a 6 week roster cycle.
As a Registered Nurse working at ABC, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Manager to develop your clinical and leadership skills and knowledge enabling you to grow. You will be passionate about what you do, provide quality care, and build relationships with the residents and their families. From time to time, you may need to provide occasional support to our nearby ABC Care Home.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Demonstrate your understanding of Tikanga Māori to engage and support our whānau.
Skills and Qualifications
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
Excellent clinical skills in adult care and aged care experience.
Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
