Registered Nurse - Theatre

ABC Institute is a leading provider of Ophthalmic care and Ophthalmic surgery. We have well equipped and modern theatre day stay facilities located in Remuera, Manukau and Northcote, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Blenheim.

Be part of this journey by working with our expanding team.  We are currently seeking experienced Theatre nurses who possess excellent clinical & communication skills, can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, challenging and fun filled environment, whilst providing safe, quality patient care.   You'll need to be able to work across all our Auckland sites - Remuera (near Newmarket), Northcote and Manukau.  We will, where practicable, schedule you closer to home as much as we can.  Part time options may be available.

Qualities we are seeking:

- Ophthalmic experience would be advantageous
- Ideally you would have at least 2 years previous Operating Theatre experience, but if you have transferrable procedure room skills, we can provide the training
- Pre-Admission or Post Anaesthetic care experience would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work across our 3 Auckland sites
- Demonstrated continuous quality improvement in work practices
- Sound understanding of professional scope of practice
- High level of professional accountability and working experience in busy and demanding environment
- Passionate about safety and excellent standards of care
- Strong team player who values collaboration and contributing to a positive and fun work environment
