Sitting in the heart of Christchurch's hospitality scene with a front row view of the iconic Avon river is ABC! ABC is like taking a trip to Mexico, working in the surroundings of rustic ceiling work, beehive like light installations, Mexican flora and animals donned with sombreros.
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who can take control of FOH operations as well as lead and develop our team of hospitality stars. With at least three years experience in a similar role you will work closely with the Director and General Manager to train and inspire our team of local and international staff, follow in house procedures, assist with roster requirements as well as provide exceptional customer service to our new and loyal guests.
Key aspects of the role include:
- An understanding of directing a fast-paced, multi sitting restaurant
- Working closely and openly as a team
- Professional and mature approach to managing staff and increasing revenue
- Excellent knowledge of the industry
- Strong focus on customer service, building relationships and driving consistency
This is a full time role - minimum 30 hours per week, starting rate from $29.66 per hour. Other benefits include tips and staff meals. We are approved as an accredited employer and able to assist through the immigration process if required.
Other roles available are:
Bar tender/Bar attendant
You must have had at least one year working in a fast paced bar with cocktail mixology experience. Role requires, fast and efficient beverage service, including cocktail mixology as per ABC beverage recipes and restaurant procedures. Full time role, 30 hours per week, pay up to $28.18 per hour based on experience.
Waiter/Waitress
At least one year experience working in a fast paced multi sitting restaurant. Position requires you to serve food and beverages utilising the ABC selling system to ensure smooth and efficient service. Our team are encouraged to show personality and have fun, all while maintaining a professional attitude to your role. Full time role, 30 hours per week, pay up to $28.18 per hour based on experience.
