As Schedule Coordinator, your main duty is to build solid relationships with Support Workers and Service Managers to ensure smooth roster delivery. This role is vital in maintaining uninterrupted services, even during unforeseen challenges. You'll handle frequent phone communication, manage advance rosters, and address short-notice sick leave promptly. Your resilience in high-pressure situations will be crucial for meeting deliverables, regardless of unexpected circumstances.
Work Schedule
We're seeking a committed team member to join us as our new Schedule Coordinator. The ideal candidate should be capable of following the outlined work schedule:
Week 1: Monday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Week 2: Monday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and Sunday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Previous administration experience (scheduling or rostering experience highly desirable)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a professional telephone manner. Experience with Conflict Management and the ability to reach an outcome quickly. Experience working within a variable environment and the ability to prioritize to achieve desired outcomes. Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
