As Security Manager, you would be responsible for leading our security team. You will be focusing on preventing loss as well as maintaining a presence to keep our customers and staff safe. The position is permanent, full time (40 hours per week) on a rotating roster, working one day of the weekend.
The Role;
Helping to ensure the safety of staff and customers at all times, while managing all loss prevention and security related issues.
Assisting in the coordination of employee training in areas such as conflict resolution and emergency scenario training.
Completing daily checks of the fuel site, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Ensuring all appropriate paperwork and record keeping is completed including preparing security reports for internal and external agencies.
About You;
We are looking for someone that is driven to succeed in this role, that displays discretion, self-awareness, is approachable and mindful of their impact on others.
3+ years Security experience, ideally in a large retail environment
Experience in loss prevention
Current Certificate of Approval or the ability to achieve one
Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
Proven experience dealing with, and building positive relationships with people from all cultures and backgrounds
The ability to maintain a calming presence to customers and staff
Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends.
Experience working with preventative security software
Experience training team members on conflict management and other aspects of security
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
