Our Dunedin-based team are seeking a driven clinician for an exciting Senior Hand Therapist role to be part of our senior leadership team. You will be instrumental in leading and building our hand therapy service in Dunedin, supporting two hand therapy associates all whilst providing best practice and service delivery solutions. We will provide you with the tools you need to look after people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the ABC way.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Service / Team Leads and Regional Managers for prompt service delivery
- Deliver memorable customer experience with your knack in providing solutions for rehabilitation services and products
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Manage your caseload whilst promoting efficient workflows
- Support and mentor two hand therapy associates in their journey to becoming qualified hand therapists

The ideal candidate:
- Degree or qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
- Current APC/Member of Hand Therapy NZ, PNZ or OTNZ
- Fluent communication skills – you will be collaborating with a whole team!
- Five plus years experience in a clinical role – leadership skills advantageous
- ACC operational, medical and policy knowledge related to rehabilitation
Overseas candidates:
- As an accredited employer, we will assist in the AEWV process
- Support in gaining required registrations
- Assistance in helping you settle into New Zealand
- Contribution towards relocation costs
