ABC is looking for a maintenance Shift Fitter at our site in Marsden Point. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role promotes and supports a culture of high performance, engagement, a commitment to safety at all levels, guiding the Maintenance Team to excellence.

Current shift pattern is 4-on 4-off, made up of 12-hour shifts across 2-days and 2-nights, averaging 42hpw.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

- Day to day projects from repairs to preventative maintenance
- Updating job tasks in our computerised maintenance system
- Follow maintenance best practices
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Focus on quality
- Maintaining a collaborative working environment

You will have:

- Relevant trade qualified engineer, or equivalent
- Boiler certification an advantage
- Analytical troubleshooting ability for breakdowns
- Strong safety and compliance values with a quality focus
- Ability to deliver results on time to meet internal customer expectations
- Team player who sets high standards for themselves
- Good numeracy and problem solving skills
- A high level of accuracy and product quality as per specifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels and departments
- Strong organisational skills with a drive to meet deadlines
- Continuous improvement initiatives

This position would ideally suit a person who has worked in a similar, fast-paced production environment.
