Are you a seasoned industry expert with a knack for negotiating the best software licensing deals? ABC's Cyber Security Division is seeking a Software Licensing Procurement Specialist to join our team!

Ko tō mahi – What you will do

As a Software Licensing Procurement Specialist at ABC, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our software licensing agreements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Interacting with distributors and vendors to secure the most advantageous discount and license structures
Conducting market research to identify cost-effective software solutions that meet our cybersecurity needs
Collaborating with internal teams to assess software requirements and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and licensing terms
Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality
Monitoring and managing software license usage to optimize costs and maintain compliance
Manage software licensing renewals

At least a few years of proven experience in software procurement and licensing
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing favourable licensing agreements
In-depth knowledge of software licensing models, compliance requirements, and industry trends
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with vendors, distributors, and internal stakeholders
A strategic mindset and the ability to analyse complex licensing structures to drive cost savings and efficiencies
The ability to champion customer interests while also valuing structured processes, scalability, and data-driven decision-making
